(note, pose credits can make getting individual
poses from the Pose Tool cheaper and easier).

When Jenni traveled from the Czech Republic to the U.S. she contacted us
to become part of the Art Models project. It amazes us that artists and models
around the world have heard about our mission (providing access to quality reference
photos of the human figure) and want to take part. Here Jenni is holding up
Art Models 2 and our newest book (summer of 2009) Art Models 4. Jenni poses are becoming
available in the Pose Tool as we finish
editing them.

Becca, Larger Than Life.
A quick snap-shot showing Becca standing next to her photo from
a previous shoot. We're using a PlayStation 3 connected to a 60" high-def TV to view her photos at larger-than-life size.
You could do the same with the photos on any of our pose Disks or
downloadable poses. If you don't have a
Playstation, you could connect a computer to a TV. Some DVD players will
let you show photos from a disk. In a classroom or meeting, you could use a projector for an even larger view. |

The Art Models 3 Companion Disk is now available.
The Art Models 3 CD has over 60 poses -- the product page
shows a full list including a preview image for every pose.
The poses for Art Models 3 were chosen by readers and website visitors. The response was so great we could not include everyone's
choices this time, but they will be at the top of the list for the next Art Models. To everyone who chose poses, Thank You!
If you are wondering about the Art Models 3 book, it will be going to the printer this month and will be available this
summer in late July or early August. |

In preparing Art Models 2 to be reprinted (we sold out of the first print run), I was reminded of this photo by Dan. Sometimes
the younger models get all the attention but Dan did a great job of capturing the expression of a wounded and dying
combatant and we thought it deserved to be featured. |

This first video goes through the process of downloading a pose, extracting
it to a folder, and viewing the pose in various ways. We hope this will give a good overall feel for the process. This was done on Windows XP
using Internet Explorer. No special software is used, everything required is built-in
to XP. This is video only (no audio) in Windows Media Player format, about 9 MB. Time: 2:50 .

The Pose Tool is a free, easy to use, searchable figure reference of nearly 500 full color poses. Use it, for example, for pose ideas,
instructing models, and planning compositions. |

Features
Please look around and use the various features-
most especially the Pose Tool,
an interactive search tool that helps you find just the right pose based on a variety
of search criteria. When you log in, you will have access to a favorites list to
help organize your choices and you will be able to leave us (and all other visitors)
feedback on the poses.
You can also browse our list of Books and Companion Disks--simply expand the 'Shop'
branch of the navigation tree at left and click a category to see what we have.
We are actively developing new features for posespace.com and hope to offer much,
much more in the coming months. Your thoughts and ideas are always welcome!
